Saturday 13th of May 2006 at 10 a.m.: Public defence for the Ph.D.-degree at the School of Mission and Theology of the thesis:
Shepherds and demons : a study of exorcism as practised and understood by shepherds in the Malagasy Lutheran Church. (See summary. The book itself available via BIBSYS.)

Professor Øyvind Dahl, School of Mission and Theology, is the third member in the adjudication committee and has been its coordinator.
The trial lectures and the defence will be held in the Aula at the School of Mission and Theology, Misjonsveien 34, Stavanger.
Retor Knut Holter will preside at the defence.
MGS gave me new and more perspectives on what I have expirienced and learnt in my job. After several years of jobs with child welfare, asylum seekers and prevention of prostitution and human trafficking, it was like an oasis to come to MHS and study.
