Find books at MHS

The library holds a collection of approximately 90.000 volumes covering theology, missiology, religion, and intercultural studies. Most of the books are registered in the Bibsys database.

Search Bibsys MHS

  • write one or several words
  • choose words in title, authour name and/or keywords
  • use truncation (?) to look for variations in spelling and word form

Example: religi? returns religion, religions, religious etc.

Parts of the collection acquired before 1986 are not yet registered in Bibsys. When searching for literature published prior to 1986 you migth need to use the library card catalogue.

The card catalogue is an alphabetical file of authors and titles. It is located in the small room in front of the library information desk. Don't hesitate to ask the librarians if you need help.
