B. Future Themes: May 2009: History, Faith & Existence (future May issues are non-thematic); October 2009: Biblical & Hermeneutical Perspectives on Wealth & Poverty; October 2010: Ethnicity and Identity: Biblical Perspectives. Contributors always welcome!

 

C. Tracking African Biblical Research: Authors of accepted non-revised/non-published biblical doctoral theses (from A.D. 2000) and newly minted ones are invited to send to HH: brief bio-/ professional data, topic of thesis, year accepted, primary supervisor, name of institution, thesis’ expanded summary (250-350 words) incl. any specific biblical issues of import to Africa.

 

D. Reduced Journal Subscription Rates:  in effect for October 09-May 10.

 

E. Religion and the Bible in Africa (RABA): Authors are welcome to contribute to this HH’s premier series.

 

F. “Society of Biblical Scholars”: Plans toward inaugurating a future “SBS” in Africa are on! HH is currently accepting nominations of prospective members from institutions/organizations.
