Two publications by Peder Eilert Nilsen-Lund (1842-1914)

Peder Eilert Nilsen-Lund (1842-1914) was a missionary in Madagascar from 1874-1897. The Norwegian Mission Society published two booklets authored by Nilsen-Lund.

The first publication was about an expedition in southern Madagascar in 1887, in which he was investigating possibilities for expansion of the mission field of the NMS. The front page has this text: "Missionær Nilsen-Lunds Undersögelsesreise gjennem den sydlige Del af Madagaskar. Fra Juli - November 1887. Stavanger 1888. Det norske Missionsselskabs Forlag. L. C. Kiellands Bogtrykkeri."

The second publication is describing the work on the mission field. The front page has this text: ""Nye Missionstraktater. No. 7. En Arbeidsdag paa Missionsmarken af Nilsen-Lund, Missionspræst. 1ste Oplag. - Pris 10 Øre. Stavanger 1899. Det Norske Missionsselskabs Forlag." The fifth printing of this booklet was published in 1914.
