Hand crafted model of NMS sailing ship "Elieser"
The Mission Archives has received a request for information about a sailing ship model. The model of "Elieser" may have been made by Askil Colbensen Mjelde (1828-1916), who served as carpenter on Elieser in the 1870s. Now, we want to trace the current location of the model.
In our collection of digital photos we have four items showing the Elieser model in a work shop. The photos were taken with a KODAK DC265 ZOOM DIGITAL CAMERA, 14.07.1999 09:45:09. The date format suggests the location is in Norway.
Could it be that the work shop is recognised by someone? See below photos.
