Dear International Student,

We are pleased that you have chosen or are considering the School of Mission and Theology as your place of study in Norway! We hope that studying and living in Stavanger will be an enjoyable experience for you.

We try as much as possible to prepare everything for you as an international student at the MHS,- both academically and socially. Remember that the period of study is not just about academic courses, but also your personal and spiritual development.

At the MHS you will meet a good social environment where you will be able to make friends and meet classmates from around the world. We have our own cafe which is a natural meeting point for students and staff alike.

The Student Council is actively contributing to the decisions made at our specialized university and is working to create the best possible student environment for you.

The MHS has a large research library and good reading rooms to help you have the necessary quiet to concentrate on your studies. We also have a mission archive which is unparalleled in Norway, bringing together researchers from around the world.

And when you have finished studying for the day, the MHS' own sports club, gym and football field ("Mission field") is open for you.
